What’s new?
Another year has already passed, let’s review some of our recent updates.
New columns
Our love and appreciation for self-expression through style is no secret. Therefore, we’ve introduced two new columns this year - dedicated to all the lip shaped glitter purses, little black dresses and bold vintage fringed jackets out there - and of course the people who dare to push limits and experiment with their style. “In my room” will take you through the wardrobes and minds of a range of fashionistas, while “Stilikon” is a series of mini-interviews which gives you quick and snappy insight to the lives of your favorite style icons. The next one out is Lylia Mari, so get ready for an inspirational boost!
3 new collections
The past year, Nuet Wear has been blooming with three new collections, each bringing you unique vintage finds to a fair price. It’s been a dream to work with our wonderful models, put together the collections, meet you in person at our launch party, and of course see you appreciate your purchases, whether it’s in Minnesota or Montmartre. If everything goes as planned, you can expect a new collection sometime in early 2020…
New location
We’ve moved from Stavanger, Norway to London, UK! Here’s to new beginnings and a new chapter of NUET. If you want to meet up for a cup of coffee or collaborate in person, our inbox is always open.

The life of a director: A few steps beyond the limit, subconscious inspiration and a snake biting its tail
It’s not often that a commercial at the cinema is something you remember, but after being exposed to Niels work, we knew we had to find out more about the man behind he lens. Overwhelmed by climate change?
It’s not just you, we all feel a bit overwhelmed by the climate crisis from time to time (or all the time), and there is no shame in feeling this way. But that also means that we need to deal with these emotions. It might be easy to simply try to ignore it all - because it’s scary, because you don’t want it to be true, because it’s easier to live in oblivion. Global warming is scary, but we can’t let that fear stop us from trying to find solutions.
Why transparency matters
As consumers, we deserve to know who make our clothes and under what conditions. With every buck we spend, we are casting a vote, and we deserve to know who we’re voting for. We need transparency so we can make sure that our clothing is made in a safe, clean and fair way. This article explores why transparency is so very important, and it features a photo series celebrating ethical fashion.
Being sustainable never looked so good

CONSENT IN THE WORLD OF ART
This article explores the question of where the line between fan art and stolen art is. Is a recreation a stolen idea or simply paying homage? When we’re talking about art, it’s a tough question to find an answer to, but defiantly an interesting one - and one that should be asked.
20 BY 20
2019 has been a mentally difficult year for me (Nora), as there has been a lot of drastic “unexpected” changes. This article was, and still is a way for me to reflect on what I would like to improve at, and goals that I would like to reach before turning 20 years old.
WHAT IS INTIMACY?
Inspired by a performance piece about intimacy preformed by Raquel André, I asked myself what intimacy really mean. There doese’t seem to be an objective definition, but while exploring our own perspective and understanding, as well as considering what it could mean to those around us, a new form of self-awareness will arise.
A HEAVY HEART, A THRILLING FEELING AND A NEW BEGINNING
An analytical reflection of my last days as a high school student, and the beginning of a new chapter. “I do like change, it’s not that, but saying farewell to something that has shaped you immensely, and been a big part of the way you’ve identified yourself for two years seems awfully hard.”
RAISE BOYS AND GIRLS THE SAME WAY
What does it mean to be a girl? What does it mean to be a boy? Depends on who you ask. But the real question should be “what does it mean to be you?”. Here are some thoughts of the impact gender-roles have on people during their childhood, accompanied by photography by Samera Paz.
YOGA FOR STRESS RELIEF
Regardless of how flexible you are, or your history with a yoga practice, this stretching routine is for anyone. Inhale, exhale and re-center your intentions. Note: If you suffer from a medical condition, be sure to consult your doctor before doing any of the poses.
