What does a typical day look like for you?

As I just graduated from high school my life is very different from what it was just a few months ago. Although every day is vastly different there are some aspects of my days which never change. On my days off work my morning are quite relaxed. I start by taking my temperature (currently experimenting with Natural Cycles), drinking water whilst I check my phone (old habits die hard..), making my bed and doing my skincare. Then breakfast and coffee which is followed up with some upbeat tunes and a clean around my bedroom. I also often find myself working on Nuet and personal projects at local coffeeshops during the day. If I have a shift that day then I’ll usually just relax in the morning or afternoon depending when I have a shift. Additionally, since finishing school I have also tried to make an effort to go on more walks and jogs outside to break the day up a bit and get fresh air.

Describe your personal style and do you have daily uniform?

In general my style involve clean cuts, oversized pieces that are thrifted or inherited. As for a uniform I always gravitates towards an oversized t-shirt (from my dad or grandfather) or a turtleneck and a pair of mom jeans, but I honestly really depends on the weather and my plans for that day.

Who is your style icon?

I get a lot of inspiration from family albums. Both my grandparents are creative, my grandfather studied textile work in Sweden then went on working as an assistant boss at a swimwear factory in the 60s. My grandmother became a tailor, then an art teacher at a middle school and at a psychiatric hospital before working in a local clothing store in my hometown. In other words both of them were and still are very interested clothing and making clothing last for as long as possible. I guess that explains why I love their style from when they were younger. They were also the once who taught be to always put quality over quantity, especially when talking about clothing. My mother also is a big style icon in my life. Her short hair, ties, tank tops and skirts keep on inspiring me when I am struggling to find something to wear.

What is important to you when you shop?

To be honest I never really shop other then in my grandmothers closet- haha. However when I do shop once in a blue moon I have a few criteria for what I look for. 1. Trying to stay away from materials made from plastic (going for vintage wool and silk or cotton for instance) 2. One of a kind pieces which I can see myself wearing for years to come. 3. Colors that go with majority of the things in my closet.

What is your current favorite piece in your closet?

At the moment is has to be this dress my grandmother made for herself when she was my age. Although I don’t wear it often, it is crazy to see how similar we were at this age and I always feel proud wearing something that has so much significance within my family.

Any items you wish were in you shopping cart at the moment?

A trench coat and a pair of black open toe heels.

How did you get into collecting vintage?

As mentioned, I have always loved “shopping” in my grandmothers closet so I guess you could say that sparked an interest in vintage shops. Additionally I’ve always been interested in history- I wanted to become and archaeologist when I was younger. Maybe vintage collecting and shopping is a way for me to

Do you plan your outfits the day before or on the same day/ more intuitively?

As the planer I am I often find myself either picking out an outfit the day before, or brainstorms ideas before falling asleep.

What are three pieces from your closet you can’t live without?
1. A pair of mom jeans. 2. A turtle neck. 3. An oversized blazer or coat. (And my rings)

One trend you wish would come back?
