A thank you letter to Greta Thunberg

Dear Greta.

Your sixteen year old mind and the boldness you posses will forever inspire me to stand up for what I believe in. To be honest, there are no words in which I can describe my appreciation for all your hard work and dedication. Your decision to sit in-front of the Swedish parlament resulted in a revolution, and you created one without even saying a single word. I want to thank you for panicking, and for truly seeing the world for what it is, not what the mass cooperations wants us to see. You have ultimately showed that soft power can indeed be used to create an uprising. A change. A positive progress.

With the motivation you have awaken in a lot of us, we can finally stand together and raise our voice. Through social media, demonstrations and conversations each one of us hold the power to change one persons mind. Just think about it, if you made one single person believe that climate change is real it could come down to thousands of individuals starting to reconsider their every day choices. The power of the people is immense, and our ability to change the world was in my opinion long forgotten. Now, with the help of Greta our power is finally back. We will make a change, hopefully it is not too late.
